Tracey Lee Dennis

Tracey Lee Dennis is a Doctoral student pursuing her PhD in Poverty Land and Agrarian Studies at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. Her research focuses on the oral history of four coastal communities around the Western Cape area and the pre- and post-apartheid influences on their livelihoods. She is also a part-time associate researcher at the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) with a research focus on small-scale fisheries, their vulnerabilities, the gendered impacts, and the impact of commodification.
