She completed her Bachelors’ degree in Business and Commerce with a major in Economics at the Monash University. She also received her first Master’s degree in International Business from the same university. During her graduate studies, she developed a strong interest in the development of cities, rural areas and communities, particularly in relation to water. As part of the MDP program, she is completing her summer placement at Life from Water Canada, an organization that works towards providing clean water to rural communities in Egypt, East Africa and indigenous communities in Canada. She intends to bridge her background in Economics with her interests in rural development, common resource governance and community-based management of water resources.
