Saurabh Sharma

Saurabh Sharma is pursuing his PhD degree at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India under the supervision of Prof. Jenia Mukherjee. He is currently working on the water history of central India (Bundelkhand), accessing local and colonial archives and conducting ethnographies to map historical and contemporary hydrosocial dynamics in the study area. His research focuses on addressing the acute water crisis using hydro-social and other social sciences frameworks, which speaks to water and society relationships, and proposes an eco-friendly solution contrary to big hydrological interventions.
