Nicky Kumari

Nicky Kumari has completed her graduation from CSI WITS Hyderabad. She is committed to contributing to the sustainable development of the environment through her academic and research pursuits. Her work centers on the assessment of socio-ecological vulnerability and the analysis of environmental degradation, particularly within small-scale fishing communities. Nicky is deeply interested in understanding the interconnectedness of human and ecological systems, and how the environment changes impact the livelihoods of marginalized groups. She seeks to develop holistic approaches that address both ecological health and social well-being. She is passionate about working on innovative solutions for environmental challenges, sustainable development and the protection of vulnerable ecosystems in India.
