I’m a graduate student pursuing Masters of Environment Studies in Sustainability Management (SUSM) at the University of Waterloo. My interest in working with development agencies and partners specifically in managing and solving of development problems, influenced my decision to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies as my first degree at Valley View University-Ghana. As a development-oriented student, I have come to understand how community needs/problems are identified and developing sustainable interventions to address them. Working with one of the government agencies in my home country as an Environmental Analyst has exposed me to various environmental threats and mitigation measures. My research will focus on small scale fisheries, role of women and the opportunities to improve livelihood.
