Esfar Jahan Faraizy

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mahmudul Islam, Esfar Jahan Faraizy is a graduate student at the Department of Coastal and Marine Fisheries at Sylhet Agricultural University in Bangladesh, where she is working towards a master's degree. She is passionate about researching the socioeconomic and commercial aspects of coastal elasmobranch fisheries in Bangladesh. Her master's study aims to illustrate the socioeconomic traits of dependent fishermen and the trading characteristics of Bangladesh's coastal elasmobranch fisheries.
