Deeksha Arora

Deeksha is a PhD scholar enrolled at the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness, IIT Kharagpur. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of Social, Developmental and Indian Psychology. Currently, Deeksha is a volunteer with the Project Baalrakshak team, working under the aegis of Child Rights and You; which conducts workshops spreading awareness about Child Sexual Abuse. Prior to this, Deeksha completed her M.A. Psychology (Indian Psychology) and Bachelor of Elementary Education from the University of Delhi. She has also worked as a primary school teacher in Delhi- NCR. Over the last 7-8 years, Deeksha has volunteered and interned with different non- government, government affiliated and private organisations working in the areas of Child Development and Education.
