University of Waterloo
Hello all. I recently completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo with a B.Sc in Health Sciences. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Environmental Studies in Sustainability Management, at the University of Waterloo’s School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) as a graduate student with Dr. Prateep Nayak. My research will focus on investigating the effect of environmental factors on mental health, and specifically how health policy interventions can be improved to foster strong, sustainable, small-scale fishery communities - thus, reducing health vulnerabilities and increasing viability. I am interested in the public health sector of sustainability management and hope to make adequate health care more accessible and equitable for all, thereby focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 3. I have received numerous scholarships during my undergraduate career and follow my passions by being an avid volunteer for public hospitals and local NGOs. I enjoy learning new languages and cultures, as well as travelling the globe.
