Arghya Kunui

Arghya Kunui holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Fish and Fisheries and a Master's degree in Fishery Science. Presently Arghya is working with the ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CIFRI), Barrackpore, under the National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. Alongside his professional role, Arghya is pursuing a Ph.D. focused on Hilsa fisheries. For the past six years, his research has concentrated on the migration, breeding patterns, and habitat dynamics of Hilsa (Tenualosa ilisha) along the Hooghly-Matlah estuarine system.
