Agnes Onyejeochin Godwin is a graduate student pursuing her Master’s degree in Fisheries Management at the Lagos State University, Nigeria. With the support of her supervisors, Prof. Shehu Latunji Akintola and Prof. Kafayat Fakoya, her research focuses on small–scale fisheries using a social-ecological approach. Agnes completed her Bachelor's degree in the study of freshwater prawns, specially Macrobrachium macrobrachium and Macrobrachium vollenhoveni. She has the experience of working as a Junior Research Assistant in several fisheries projects. Agnes is also actively engaged in the small-scale entrepreneur and produces live and smoked-dried catfish. Her goal in life is to make a positive global impact on the sustainability of food production.
