Jayanta Basu is a specialized environment and climate correspondent and columnist associated with The Telegraph, ABP Pvt Limited, India but also contributes to a few other publications nationally and internationally. Apart from covering climate change issues nationally and internationally - almost a regular in international climate change meetings since 2009 - Jayanta has led successfully a number of landmark environmental campaigns for The Telegraph. He is also a faculty member at Calcutta University and works with various key environmental issues.
