DV Pahan Prasada holds the position of Professor in Agricultural Economics and Business Management at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He completed his education with a BSc Honours in Agriculture from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, an MSc in Agricultural Economics and International Development from the University of Guelph, Canada, and a PhD in Economics from the Business School of the University of New South Wales. His areas of expertise encompass teaching, research, and outreach in the fields of development and environmental economics. Additionally, he is a non-resident fellow at the Center for Development and Sustainability, Monash Business School, Australia. Previously, he held the Climate Adaptation Research Fellowship and is a certified expert in climate adaptation finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
