Dr. Andrea M. Collins is an Associate Professor in the School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability (SERS) and the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA) at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Collins obtained her Ph.D. in Political Studies from Queen's University, Canada, and was a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Political Economy at Carleton University. Her research examines the role of gender in the governance of food, land, and agriculture by considering the gendered socio-political dynamics that discipline resource use and governance.
