I am currently a graduate student in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) in the University of Waterloo. I completed my undergraduate studies in BSc. Development Studies at Valley View University, Accra-Ghana, which gave me an in-depth knowledge of development problems affecting third world countries ranging from social, economic, political, environmental, cultural and technological issues.

My interest is focussed on the impacts of climate change in small-scale fishery communities in Africa. My research, is to "explore the fishing communities’ perspective on building local resilience to climate change vulnerability" by critically examining the achievement of viability in small-scale fishery communities of Lake Volta, Ghana. I will be using the I-ADAPT case study method to conduct my research.
