Mr. Kappo Ayorinde is an assistant chief scientific officer and Head of the Natural Resources and Coastal Management in the Cooperative Information Network. He possesses a Masters in Fisheries from the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Nigeria. He also has a master's in geoinformation and environmental management. He’s a member of TBTI, UNESCO Ocean Experts, and ASLO. He has participated in different regional and international projects including the Landuse Landcover Classification of Southwest, Nigeria, and the National Seafood Safety Certification Workshop organized by the World Fish Centre, Malaysia in conjunction with LASU, Ojo in 2018. He has attended different regional and international training, presented papers at different conferences, and has some publications to credit. He’s currently undergoing a Ph.D programme in Fisheries, working on climate change vulnerability of small scale fisheries at the department of fisheries, L.ASU, Ojo.
